The End is the Beginning is the End

So I made this fantastic webquest and I don't have time to implement it. By the time I finished the webquest, we were already beyond Linear Programming. Hopefully I can talk to Josh Ence (the Physics teacher) to see if we can incorporate my telecommunications lesson. At first I really struggled with it, but once I locked onto the cooperative challenge mode in the book, I knew I could come up with something awesome. I am really in love with my telecommunications lesson. http://mason.gmu.edu/kwrigh10/portfolio/fall09/tcpage.html

As the end of the semester ends, I realize that this is really only the beginning of how I'm going to change the way I teach and interact with my kids. I'm very excited for it! I've already started incorporating more of the discussion boards in my class for homework help. Slowly but surely, I think this will come along. I do have to say that my designing is changing slowly but surely. It's really difficult changing the way I think when I'm limited by a timed curriculum. But I'm trying!

  1. Making the decision to change is the first step.....I'm thrilled to hear how happy you are with your telecommunications lesson plan.

Maybe you will have a bit more time to implement your ideas during the winter semester break.
