One or the other

Due to scheduling, my 4th period gets everything a day later than my 5th and 7th periods (these are my honors Algebra 2 classes). So 4th period rarely gets to decide things that I leave up to my students. So I told them that I had two different ideas for projects in class, and that I would leave it up to them to decide. Not surprisingly, they voted to do the video projects as opposed to the make a coloring book. They were excited and wanted to start right away. Unfortunately, we need to get through a few other things before the SOL, but they should have plenty of time after the SOL to make their videos. I had two kids who staretd making storyboards right away. When I asked them about it, they said they had done it in drama class. So now my brain is in overdrive wondering if I can combine drama and math together...
