Seems a bit redundant, doesn't it? Sort of like writing about writing, but more specific. There were so many aspects of blogging that we covered in class, it's hard to pick just one.
I think my favorite aspect of blogging is that it really and truly archives your thoughts and learning. Going back and re-reading older blogs, especially for someone who has been blogging for a long time, you can really see how their thought process changes as the learning occurs.
I think this would be beneficial for my kids, to have them blog about their study habits and what they're learning in class. I think it would be interesting to see what they're learning in relation to what I'm teaching. As Priscilla says, students choose to learn what they want.
